Professional Building Services was founded by Jon Johnson in 1983 as a 2 person window cleaning company. By the requests of our customers, PBS expanded its scope of work to a “Full Service Contractor.”

As of today PBS employs a staff of over 300 trained and uniformed associates we maintain approximately a million and half square feet daily.

PBS offers its services in the following markets: Quad Cities, Muscatine, Clinton, Dubuque, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Dixon and Sterling Illinois.

Now with the introduction of the Second Generation, PBS continues to practice the same traditions and philosophies that have made PBS a well-known Building Service Contractor. There is a vast difference between building service contractors. Our proactive management, timely quality inspections, stable staffing, and our commitment to quality enable us to provide an unmatched service to our clients.
