HISTORY
This division was once under the Professional Building Services corporate structure and was the initial services that founded PBS. In 2004, Professional Building Services elected to make a Special Services Division that would only specialize in these services and focus on developing and marketing their specific services not only to current PBS customers but also increase their own outside client base. This partnership has been a successful venture and has made it possible for our customers to utilize PBS & Janus as a “One Source” vendor.
SERVICES
- Window cleaning.
- Carpet cleaning and extraction services.
- Upholstery and walk off mat cleaning.
- Building and sidewalk pressure washing.
- Superstructure cleaning.
- Exterior light bulb replacement.
- Exterior Holiday decorations and lighting setup and removal.
OUR STAFF
The staff at Janus Building Services has been properly trained for the industry specific equipment including all safety related procedures in order to perform the specific services required. All crews have a Crew Leader who is responsible to making sure the job is performed in a safe, an efficient manner. Crew leaders are also responsible for communicating progress to the customer and making sure the customer is completely satisfied at the completion of the job. All staff is uniformed to clearly identify they work for Janus.

EQUIPMENT
This company utilizes only industry specific equipment to perform the work properly. Janus’s list of equipment includes two (2) 36 foot bucket trucks, and two (2) Steamway International ( www.steamway.com ) truck mount hot water extraction carpet machines. Other equipment includes dehumidification and drying equipment, and mobile pressure washing equipment.

IWCA International Window Cleaners Association
The primary goal of the organization is to advance the interests and concerns of its members. Through its various programs, the IWCA promotes safety, training and a highly professional, responsible image of the window cleaning professional. The IWCA delivers at least three regional safety training programs a year at various locations throughout the United States. These programs cover all aspects of window cleaning safety and equipment use. The IWCA is also the secretariat for the American National Standard, IWCA I 14.1 Window Cleaning Safety.
